Belmont Police searching for bank robbery suspect

BELMONT, N.C. – Belmont Police need your help to find a man they say robbed a bank. Officers say the man entered the State Employees’ Credit Union on Wilkinson Boulevard around 12:30 Monday afternoon, demanded cash and took off in a getaway car.

The gray or silver four-door Nissan was last seen traveling west toward Gastonia. No one was hurt during the robbery.
