2 arrested for bomb threats in Cleveland County
SHELBY, N.C. – Two people were arrested after two bomb threats were made in Cleveland County on Wednesday, according to the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office.
On April 1, officials say the Cleveland County Clerk’s Office received two bomb threats within an hour of each other.
The building was immediately evacuated. Emergency personnel conducted a search and determined the building to be clear.
Following an investigation, deputies identified and arrested Trenity Campbell and Angel McManus in connection to these incidents.
Both have been charged with one count of making a false report concerning a destructive device. They are being held at the Cleveland County Detention Center with no bond.
