Life jacket from Titanic survivor up for auction
A rare Titanic artifact will be on the auction block this weekend.
It’s the only survivor’s life jacket ever to go up for auction. It was worn by Laura Mabel Francatelli, a first-class passenger on the Titanic.
The same life jacket sold at auction in 2007 for about $140,000. This time, the jacket is expected to bring in up to $474,000.
The life jacket had previously been on display at Titanic Belfast in England and the Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
