Subaru Concord Presents Subaru Share the Love Event Donation to Cabarrus Meals on Wheels
CONCORD, N.C. — Subaru Concord presented its 2025–2026 Subaru Share the Love® Event donation to Cabarrus Meals on Wheels on Tuesday evening during the organization’s annual Volunteer Appreciation Event held this year at Atrium Health Ballpark. The on‑field check presentation celebrates a long-standing partnership dedicated to supporting homebound seniors across Cabarrus County.
Cabarrus Meals on Wheels honored its volunteers, recognizing the individuals who deliver meals, provide safety checks, and offer vital social connection to seniors who rely on the program.
Subaru Share the Love® Event: National Impact, Local Commitment
The 2025–2026 Subaru Share the Love® Event generated more than $26 million for national and hometown charities. Over the program’s 18‑year history, Subaru and its retailers have contributed more than $346 million to charitable organizations nationwide.
From November 20, 2025 through January 2, 2026, Subaru and its retailers donated a minimum of $300 for every new Subaru purchased or leased, with customers choosing from four national charity partners—Meals on Wheels America, ASPCA®, Make‑A‑Wish®, and the National Park Foundation—or a participating hometown charity.
Subaru Concord and Subaru of America increased their local impact this year by donating $450 for every new Subaru purchased or leased during the event. This year’s donation totaled $35,460.
A Partnership That Strengthens Cabarrus County

- Support volunteer training and outreach
- Expand service capacity as Cabarrus County continues to grow
“Subaru Concord’s support helps us reach more seniors every year,” said Kimberly Strong, Executive Director of Cabarrus Meals on Wheels. “Their commitment directly strengthens our ability to serve our community.”
“Cabarrus Meals on Wheels represents everything the Subaru Love Promise stands for,” said Whitney Marti of Subaru Concord. “We’re honored to support the volunteers and staff who show up for our seniors every day. Every Subaru bought or serviced with us helps fuel the work we’re celebrating today. Since our partnership began, Subaru and Subaru Concord have contributed over $312,000 to Cabarrus Meals on Wheels. The trust our customers place in us becomes meals, routes and support for our neighbors.”
