Kannapolis Police charge 17-year-old with murder in deadly shooting
KANNAPOLIS, N.C. – Police in Kannapolis have charged a 17-year-old with murder following a deadly shooting. Officers say Nehemiah Gibson-Rogers shot and killed 17-year-old Legend Benjamin Tuesday night on Coldwater Lane.
Rogers turned himself into police Thursday night.
He is being held without bond at the Cabarrus County jail.
