Motorcyclist killed in northeast Charlotte crash

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A motorcyclist died after an early morning crash in northeast Charlotte.

Police responded to University City Boulevard near North Tryon Street around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday in regards to a motorcycle accident.

Upon arrival, officers located a damaged Harley Davidson motorcycle and 32-year-old Aaron McIntosh unresponsive in the roadway. McIntosh was pronounced dead at the scene.

Speed is believed to be a factor but impairment is unknown at this time, police said.

McIntosh was the only person involved in the crash.
