WAXHAW, N.C. βΒ Police are investigating a rollover crash in Waxhaw that left one person dead and another injured.
It happened around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday on McCain Street and Arbor Drive.
According to police, the vehicle was traveling west on McCain Street when it hit a tree. The passenger, 59-year-old Ricky Gladden, died at the scene. The driver was transported to the hospital, and their condition is unknown at this time.
Speed was a contributing factor in the crash, police said.
This crash remains under investigation.
