Police: Massive apartment fire in NW Charlotte was intentionally set

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Police say an apartment fire in northwest Charlotte was intentionally set. It broke out just after 10:00 Saturday morning on Dundeen Street, off Beatties Ford Road.

Crews arrived to find heavy smoke coming from four apartments. Charlotte Fire got it under control in just under half an hour. No one was hurt.

The apartments are believed to have been unoccupied.
