A Charlotte woman was sentenced to over 21 years in prison for producing child sexual abuse material.
Aisha Khan, 40, received a 262-month sentence Thursday. According to court records, she produced multiple images and videos depicting a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct, and distributed it to another individual.
This went on from October 2021 to December 2021. Homeland Security began an investigation into Khan in 2023.
In February 2025, Khan pleaded guilty to production of child pornography.
βIt is unfathomable to me how someone can do things like this to a child,β said U.S. Attorney Russ Ferguson. βI am proud of my office for standing up for defenseless children who cannot stand up for themselves.β
Khan, a U.S. citizen from Pakistan, was ordered to serve a lifetime of supervised release, officials said.
