Rock Hill man faces charges for illegally voting in November 2024
ROCK HILL, S.C. – A Rock Hill man is facing charges for illegally voting in the 2024 election.
Federal investigators say Ekam Monfum voted in November 2024 after registering in August 2024 through the South Carolina Election Commission’s registration portal.
Monfum is a legal permanent resident married to a U.S. citizen, but he is not a citizen.
He faces up to one year in prison and a fine of up to $100,000 if convicted.
