MORGANTON, N.C. – The Burke County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate a bomb threat at a grocery store.
The threat was reported at the Food Lion on Burkemont Avenue in Morganton on Tuesday, around 6:45 p.m.
Food Lion management and other nearby businesses were evacuated.
After no suspicious items were located, businesses were reopened.
