Historic Statesville neighborhood honors love, legacy & community

STATESVILLE, N.C.– A historic milestone for one North Carolina community. The Garfield/Green Street neighborhood in Statesville is now officially recognized as a National Historic District, honoring generations of Black history, culture, and resilience.
