Will Ferrell brings ‘The Hawk’ to North Carolina

PINEHURST, N.C. – Actor Will Ferrell is spending some time in the Tar Heel State.

He showed up at the famed Pinehurst Resort earlier this week. The whole time, he was in character as “The Hawk,” which is a character he’s playing in an upcoming Netflix series.

In the show, “The Hawk” was the No. 1 golfer in 2004 and tries to attempt a comeback.

The show premieres July 16.
