Lunchtime shooting at northeast Charlotte apartment sends one to the hospital

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A shooting at a northeast Charlotte apartment complex sent one person to the hospital.

The shooting happened just before lunchtime Monday on New Paradise Drive at the Infinity260 apartment homes. MEDIC says that person’s injuries are serious.

According to investigators the person was shot inside one of the apartment units. Our crews saw officers canvasing the area.
