The Charlotte Hornets have traded star guard, Lamelo Ball to the Minnesota Timberwolves, according to an ESPN report. The Hornets sent ball and guard Josh Green to Minnesota for forward Naz Reid and four draft picks.
The picks include a 2033 unprotected first-round pick and three second-round picks for 2029, 2032, 2033.
Ball joins fellow all-star Anthony Edwards as the Hornets look to build on last season’s first playoff berth since the 2015-2016 season.
Ball was drafted 3rd overall by the Hornets in 2020.
