South Charlotte murder victim was mother of three-year-old twins

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Family and friends are remembering the victim in a south Charlotte homicide. Sa’Niya Latimore was killed Friday night at the Charlotte Woods Apartments on Scaleybark Road.

According to a GoFundMe page, the 23-year-old was a devoted and loving mother to three-year-old twins. Latimore’s mother wrote, “Our hearts are shattered beyond words.” She says the murder was the result of a domestic dispute.

30-year-old Tawaun Lee is charged in Latimore’s death.
