Security camera video shows thieves opening unlocked car doors in York Co. neighborhood

YORK CO., S.C. – A reminder from the York County Sheriff’s Office to lock your car doors. The agency posting security camera video on social media to remind you that while you’re sleeping, others are preying on your belongings.

The Sheriff’s Office says don’t leave firearms, electronics, or personal items visible or unattended in your vehicle.

They also want you to remember that a locked door is your first line of defense against break-ins.
