Heat wave dominates through the holiday weekend
The ridge will start to weaken late this weekend into next week which means temperatures start to drop and rain chances go up
Upcoming heat:
- Highs crank up Wednesday – Sunday with actual temperatures between 98 – 102.
- Heat indices or “feels like” temps 101 – 106.
Forecast:
Wednesday: Here comes the oppressive heat. Highs in the upper 90s.
Thursday: Sunny and hot. Highs in the upper 90s, near 100.
Friday: Highs near 101 with “feels like” temperatures near 105. 105 is the criteria for a Heat Advisory to be issued.
Independence Day: Sunny and hot. Highs near 100. Feels like 105.
Sunday: Sunny and still hot! Highs in the upper 90s.
