CMPD searching for missing 74 year old man

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department deputies are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 74-year-old Samuel Higgins.

Higgins was last seen near the 11000 block of Breezehill Lane on Tuesday, June 3oth. He is diagnosed with cognitive impairment and was last seen in a white 2021 Hyundai Kona. The vehicle’s North Carolina license plate reads REX–5534. The doors reportedly have red bedazzled door handles.

A Silver Alert has requested by the department. Higgins is a 5’11” black male with brown eyes, last wearing a brown shirt and dark pants.
