In bid to curb “teen takeovers,” City Council to look at ways to keep teens from ignoring Charlotte curfews
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte City Council’s Safety Committee will address teen takeover concerns in their meeting on Tuesday. Officials say these illegal meet-ups often happen in Uptown and sometimes lead to property damage or even violence.
Council will look at policies that could help keeps teens from ignoring the city’s curfew.
The curfew is 11 PM for teens 13 to 15 and 10 PM for kids 12 and under.
