Chesterfield Co. Sheriff’s Office files four additional charges two years after murder of 13-year-old boy

Four additional arrests have been made in connection with the drive-by shooting death of 13-year-old Jacob Duncan that occurred on January 26, 2024.

21-year-old Jacob Garcia, 38-year-old Tasma Garcia and 21-year-old Jacob Rangel are charged with accessory after the fact of murder and misprison.

25-year-old Andrew Rogers is charged with misprison.

CHESTERFIELD CO., S.C. – The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office has filed charges two years after the drive-by killing of a 13-year-old boy in Pageland. Jacob Duncan was killed in January 2024 after the shooting on Bennett Road in Pageland.

23-year-old Caleb Garcia is charged with murder and 21-year-old Amber Moree is charged with accessory after the fact of murder.

Garcia is already in jail serving a sentence for attempted murder in a separate shooting in Union County that happened seven days after Duncan’s death. Moree was arrested on Tuesday.
