Family of missing woman hands out flyers, and asks for tips in her disappearance
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A local family is making a desperate plea to help bring their missing loved one home safely. Shaquina Harris has now been missing for nearly two weeks. Harris’ family put flyers out on Wednesday of the missing woman. They tells us this is an effort to keep her face in the public eye.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Missing Persons unit says Harris was last seen around 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 2nd, leaving Atrium Health hospital in Dilworth.
Detectives say she may have been spotted later that afternoon near Beatties Ford Road and Woodford Bridge Drive. Her family also handed out flyers in Uptown, saying there have been reports that she was also in that area.
Her aunt, Kisha Harris, has this message for the missing woman: “Shaquana, if you see this, please contact somebody. Kaisha, Winky, your uncle, your grandma, Paulette, anybody. You’re family, baby. We’re out here looking for you. We not going to stop until we find you. Please come home.”
Call 911 if you have information that could help police.
