First York County Whataburger opens

ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Whataburger takeover continues, as another one is now open in our area.

This one is in Rock Hill on Cross Pointe Drive near I-77, and it’s the first in York County.

After a couple of push back openings, the location officially opened on Thursday. We talked to the first person in line waiting for a taste.

“You go in, they take good care of you,” Rock Hill resident Lindsay Nickalo said. “The food’s great, it’s phenomenal. I haven’t had anything bad from a Whataburger, and their cups are gigantic. If you get a large shake, beware, it’s going to take you all day to eat it.”

Whataburger has already opened locations in Charlotte, Indian Land, and Gastonia.
