Three people dead after hit-and-run weekend crash is Salisbury

SALISBURY, N.C. – Three people are dead and a driver is charged following a hit-and-run crash in Salisbury. Police say it happened late Saturday night on Mooresville Road.

Investigators say Javiel Sola left the scene after colliding with another car and crashing into a creek bed. A K9 unit tracked Sola down a short distance away.

Two people in the other car died at the scene, and a third died at the hospital. Sola faces three counts of felony hit and run.
