Carowinds re-opens Fury 325 roller coaster after “slight shift” in support column

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Carowinds’ Fury 325 roller coaster has reopened following foundation repairs. Park officials say routine maintenance detected a” slight shift” around one of the ride’s support columns. They say engineers and the North Carolina Department of Labor completed proactive corrections and safety inspections.

The park confirms the ride has resumed normal operations and exceeds all safety requirements.
