Report: New details in Nancy Guthrie ransom note revealed

More information is coming out about what’s believed to be the first ransom note in the abduction of Nancy Guthrie.

Crime journalist Briana Whitney read the letter on the “Crime Junkie” podcast. It warned “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie that her mother’s life was in her hands.

The note demanded millions in Bitcoin within a seven-day deadline and warned the family not to play games. It also cited specific details about Nancy Guthrie’s Arizona home, including a white smartwatch in her bedroom and a damaged floodlight in the backyard.

The investigation into the note and Guthrie’s disappearance remain active.
