CMPD identifies 23-year-old victim in deadly Saturday morning shooting

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Police have identified the victim in a deadly shooting from over the weekend.

Investigators say 23-year-old Sylvester Jackson was shot and killed just before 2:30 Saturday morning on Kings Ridge Drive in south Charlotte. That’s off East Arrowood Road.

Officers detained one person on scene, and we’re told detectives are not searching for any suspects.
