Brookford Police arrest man after discovering human remains

CATAWBA CO., N.C. – Police have made an arrest after human remains were found in Catawba County. 34-year-old Joshua Begley is charged with murder in the death of 79-year-old Claude Holsclaw.

Police and SBI agents found Holsclaw’s remains last Monday night, while executing a search warrant at a property on 4th Street Place Southwest in Brookford.

We’re told the medical examiner is working to determine the cause of death.
