York Co. Coroner identifies body found in Lake Wylie

YORK CO., S.C. – The York County Coroner has identified a man whose body was found in Lake Wylie. Boaters spotted the body of 48-year-old Eric Tipton in the water near Blue Heron Drive on Sunday.

The York County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the circumstances surrounding his death. We’re told autopsy and toxicology results are still pending.
