LaMelo Ball sued over unpaid rent on two Uptown Charlotte apartments

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – LaMelo Ball is facing a new lawsuit. The former Charlotte Hornets star is accused of owning more than $180,000 in back rent and more than $90,000 in unpaid HOA fees.

The company suing him, Agape Property Management, is owned by the father of former Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton.

The lawsuit says Ball rented two apartments on South Tryon Street. One of them was sublet to Ball’s long-time manager Jermaine Jackson.

This latest lawsuit comes about a month after Ball settled another lawsuit, after a local mom says he hit her son with his Rolls Royce.
