Emergency bridge repairs will cause major traffic delays in Uptown

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Expect major traffic delays in Uptown starting Thursday night due to emergency bridge repairs. NCDOT crews will repair the Caldwell Street Bridge over I-277 after a routine inspection revealed it was hit by a vehicle.

Lane closures will start Thursday and go through Monday from 9 PM until 5 AM. Another round of closures will go from August 6 through 10th.
