CHARLOTTE, N.C. – One person died and another sent to the hospital following a shooting in northwest Charlotte overnight, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
It happened around 1 a.m. Sunday at a home on Bardot Street near Capps Hill Mine Road.
When police arrived, they located a victim with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. Another person was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Homicide Unit detectives responded to the scene to investigate and collect evidence.
