Burke Co. Sheriff’s Office arrests man accused of having sex with a girl under the age of 15

BURKE CO., N.C. – The Burke County Sheriff’s Office has charged a man with seven counts of felony statutory rape and three county of felony statutory sex offense.

Warrants say 40-year-old Cody Myers is accused of having sex with a girl under the age of 15.

Myers was arrested Tuesday after an investigation that began last week. He was denied bond and is schedule to appear in court on Thursday.
