SWAT called out to local senior living center after resident’s son causes disturbance
LANCASTER CO., S.C. – A SWAT situation has ended at a senior living center in Lancaster County. The Sheriff’s Office says it happened at an apartment at Cogir Senior Living of Harrisburg Park near Indian Land around 2:30 PM Wednesday afternoon.
Deputies say the 36-year-old son of a female resident was causing a disturbance and making threatening comments. His mother left the apartment but he stayed behind.
SWAT responded and entered the apartment, taking the son into custody just before 6 PM.
Residents at areas surrounding the apartment were moved while the SWAT situation was happening. We’re told no one was hurt.
