CHESTER, S.C. – Deputies from the Chester Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting incident near Mays Drive in the Edgemoor community of Chester.
Deputies arrived and found three gunshot victims. Two victims were pronounced dead as a result of their injuries. One of the deceased victims was later identified as the suspect. The third victim was transported for further treatment.
Initial evidence suggested that the shooting was the result of an altercation.
This investigation remains ongoing.
