Man charged in drug trafficking arrest

LANCASTER, S.C. – Lancaster County authorities have arrested a man in connection to drug bust at a Lancaster home. After obtaining a warrant, investigators executed a search of the suspect’s home. Investigators entered the home and detained the suspect, 39-year-old Xavier Twitty. No one else was in the home.

During the search, investigators found 19.54 grams of suspected fentanyl, 28.31 grams of suspected methamphetamine, and pills of suspected methamphetamine and hydrocodone.

Twitty was charged with the following charges:

  • Distribution of  fentanyl
  • Trafficking fentanyl 14-28 grams
  • Trafficking methamphetamine 28-100 grams
  • Possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine
  • Possession with intent to distribute hydrocodone
  • Five counts of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance in proximity to a school or park
