Keep Rising! summit empowers teen girls

CONCORD, N.C. — The Keep Rising! Empowerment Summit for Girls will bring together girls ages 13 to 18 for workshops and conversations focused on building confidence and preparing for the future.

This year’s free summit, themed “Pretty & Powerful: Your Voice. Your Future.,” will cover leadership, self-esteem, mental health, entrepreneurship and financial literacy.

The event will be held Saturday, Aug. 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at West Cabarrus High School, 4100 Weddington Road in Concord.
