Deputies search for accused grave robber in Chesterfield County

CHESTERFIELD CO., S.C. – Deputies in Chesterfield County are searching for a suspected grave robber. 64-year-old James Therrell of Patrick is wanted on charges of theft or injury of grave property and destruction, desecration, or removal of human remains.

We’ve asked the sheriff for more details about exactly what Therrell is accusing of doing to the graves.
