Man accused of stalking teen girls inside Target on Rea Road in Ballantyne

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A South Carolina man is behind bars without bond after police say he targeted teenage girls inside a local department store. Adem Shrader faces multiple felony charges, including secret peeping and indecent liberties with a minor.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police responded to the Target on Rea Road in Ballantyne Sunday evening. Investigators say surveillance video caught Shrader following a 17-year-old girl and placing his phone under her skirt.

Court records show he then stalked three 15-year-old girls before store security and officers detained him at checkout.

Shrader was previously arrested for similar offenses in York County.
