Reward climbs to $50,000 for info about 2020 Juneteenth mass shooting in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The state of North Carolina is offering a new $25,000 reward to help find the shooters behind a deadly 2020 mass shooting in west Charlotte.

Governor Josh Stein announced on Monday the incentive to track down those responsible for killing four people during a Juneteenth celebration on Beatties Ford Road.

Multiple gunmen fired more than 150 rounds into a crowd of hundreds. Jamaa Cassell, Christopher Gleaton, and Dairyon Stevenson died as a result. Kelly Miller was killed by a vehicle while fleeing the chaos.

No suspects have been arrested.
