Local barbershop owner makes an offer to the teens who ransacked his business

CHARLOTTE, N.C.  – A west Charlotte small business owner is asking a group of teens to take responsibility after smashing through his barbershop over the weekend.

Surveillance video from the House of Hoops Barbershop on Little Rock Road captured a group busting through the glass door in the early morning hours. The intruders ransacked the shop, stealing hair clippers and several pairs of sneakers.

Owner Brian Mack says the stolen sneakers were donations intended for a community giveaway. Mack has repaired the glass and says instead of retaliation, he is offering the teens a second chance to sweep the floors and turn their lives around.
