Police: 18-year-old was driver in high-speed chase that crossed state lines
SPARTANBURG CO., S.C. – An 18-year-old is awaiting extradition to Mecklenburg County following an alleged violent crime and high-speed chase that crossed state lines.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police identified the suspect as Zyvarius Webber. Authorities say Webber was taken into custody by officers in Spartanburg, South Carolina, after leading police down Interstate 85 and crashing in Spartanburg County.
He faces a long list of charges including armed robbery, assault by pointing a weapon, and three counts of felony flee to elude.
