CMS Board releases 18-page report that summarizes findings of months-long investigation into now ex-CMS Supt. Dr. Crystal Hill

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education on Tuesday released its 18-page public report on the recent independent probe into superintendent Dr. Crystal Hill.

The investigation, which cost approximately $379,000, found no evidence of improper conduct by Hill. Outside counsel completed 86 interviews and reviewed more than 1.5 million documents over the summer.

While clearing the superintendent, the report does outline areas where the district can strengthen workplace culture and management practice of vacant positions.
