Hispanic Heritage Month celebrated through Charlotte food scene
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority is highlighting ways people can explore Hispanic culture and heritage across the Queen City during Hispanic Heritage Month and beyond.
Chef Hector Gonzalez-Mora, executive chef of The Story of Mi Carino and a CRVA ambassador, joined WCCB Rising to showcase dishes inspired by Hispanic and Latino culture. The menu included aguachile prieto, smoky mezcal-infused oysters and a carajillo helado dessert.
The Story of Mi Carino is located at 1440 S. Tryon St., Suite 100, in South End.
