SHINE 2026: Rise Gala

CHARLOTTE, N.C.– The power of the arts can go far beyond the stage or a canvas — it can help a young person find their voice, build confidence and imagine a brighter future.

That’s the mission behind The Arts Empowerment Project, which is getting ready for its annual SHINE 2026: RISE gala, celebrating creativity, resilience and some inspiring people making a difference right here in Charlotte.

Joining us this morning to tell us more is the organization’s founder and CEO, Natalie Frazier Allen.
