US Marshals capture man accused of attacking a pregnant woman in Gaston Co.

GASTON CO., N.C. – A local man accused of punching a pregnant woman is behind bars. The US Marshals Fugitive Task Force and police captured Steven Wilson on Monday. They’d been looking for him for two weeks after the September 19th attack in Gaston County.

He’s accused of punching the pregnant woman in the face, and strangling her until she fell. Wilson now faces multiple charges, including battery of an unborn child.
