Chester Police name woman accused of hitting, injuring 6-year-old child with SUV and leaving scene

CHESTER, S.C. – We’ve learned the name of a woman accused in a hit and run involving a six-year-old child on a bicycle. Domonique Brice is charged with hit-and-run resulting in bodily injury.

Investigators say Brice struck the child with an SUV on Tuesday and left without stopping. It happened on Smith Street in Chester.

Brice later showed up at the police department saying she may have hit something with her vehicle earlier in the day. Police tell us the six-year-old was taken to Levine Children’s Hospital with a broken arm and facial bruises.
