Gaston Co. Police busts convicted felon for allegedly trafficking drugs

GASTON CO., N.C. – Gaston County Police say they’ve busted a suspected drug trafficker. 44-year-old Howard Boulware was arrested after a months-long investigation.

Detectives say they seized more than half a pound of cocaine, marijuana, MDMA, $600 in cash and three firearms including an AR-style pistol equipped with a 60-round magazine.

They say Boulware is a convicted felon who was on parole out of Georgia. He’s currently being held in the Gaston County Jail with no bond.
