HOLLYWOOD, CA– Justin Timberlake brought sexy back, but apparently his record label wanted him to take it right back where he found it! Justin says executives initially thought his 2006 hit “SexyBack” was a terrible idea! They complained the song was too fast, sounded nothing like him, and wouldn’t work on the radio. Well, Justin trusted his instincts, and the song spent seven weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100! It even won a Grammy! Not bad for a song the record label didn’t believe in. Sometimes you’ve just gotta trust your gut, especially when it’s bringing sexy back!
