MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Crews are searching for a missing Gastonia woman in North Myrtle Beach. Β Investigators say Amy Arrington went missing Saturday. Β
Her husband said he was laying on his beach towel when Arrington said she was going into the water. Β He told police he saw her get in the water and he laid back down. Β Approximately 15 minutes later he got up but could not locate his wife. Β
She was last seen on the beach near 24th Avenue North. Β Officials say she was last seen wearing a red one piece bathing suit with flowers and brown trim. Β
Witnesses say rescue crews were riding jet skis in the area Sunday. Β Arrington is 42-years-old. Β 5’2″, 130lbs and has black hair. Β Anyone with information on Arrington’s whereabouts is asked to call 911.
